How licensing works

Each state sets its own pre-licensing education, exam and background check for a real estate salesperson license, and a new salesperson works under a broker. The figures below are as stated on Colibri Real Estate's state pages; confirm current fees with the state regulator before you apply123.

A business decision. Colibri's own income survey of its alumni found earnings vary widely for new agents5. A license is a business decision, not a shortcut to selling your own home for less.
